Summary

Valor is a Team Free-For-All Myth II tournament. Teams can consist of 2–3 players with games played on 6-start and 4-start maps. This tournament will use a mix of community made maps and a few originals. It will also run over the course of 3 weeks: 2 qualifying rounds then a final round played by the top 12 teams - a Champions Group and a Consolation Group. Prizes are awarded to the top 3 teams in the Champions Group and the winner of the Consolation Group.

Registration opens on August 23rd and closes September 7th. Round 1 begins the weekend of September 11th-13th.

How to Enter

Find a teammate or 2 and then fill out the registration form. Minimum roster size is 2 players, the maximum is 3.

How to Find Teammates

Your best option outside of talking to people you meet while playing is joining the Bagrada.net Discord. Look for the Valor channel specifically: #valor2.

Rounds and Maps

The first 2 rounds both consist of 6 games: 5 games on 6-start maps and then a bonus game on a 4-start map that only the top 4 scoring teams in the group can play in.

The Final Round will have 7 games with the same scoring cutoff for the top 4 scoring teams after the 5th game. There are no bonuses or bonus games in the final round.

Scoring

Scoring for Valor uses 2 different types of placement scoring for normal and bonus games. Bonus games also offer in-game bonuses and penalties of various kinds.

Bonuses

Available in Bonus games only.

• +1 Win the bonus game as one of 2 the lowest scoring teams qualified for the bonus game
• +1 When your team has the best ratios but didn't win the bonus game
  • Must finish in 2nd with at least 75 damage given

Penalties

• -2 per game forfeited or abandoned
• -1 mesh ball or otherwise make it uncontestable (+ automatic last place on STB)
• -2 Finish the bonus game in last place without being eliminated
• -2 Finish the bonus game with the least damage given and in the bottom 2 places

Prizes

There will be cash prizes awarded to 4 teams in the Final Round: The top 3 teams in the Champions group and the winner of the Consolation group.
